TIES aims to build knowledge, media platforms and technology products for issues of national and global importance. We combine rigorous research, influential digital media and cutting-edge technology to identify opportunities, engage large audiences and deliver impactful outcomes across geopolitics, international relations, foreign policy, public policy, national security, defence, economics, technology, artificial intelligence and information ecosystems.
-
Research
Through our research programmes, TIES undertakes structured analysis of contemporary and strategic issues, drawing on publicly available information, datasets, expert interactions and multidisciplinary approaches.
-
Media
Our media ecosystem translates this work into accessible knowledge and public discourse through a growing network of thematic platforms.
-
Technology
Alongside research and media, TIES is actively developing technology, AI products and digital systems for self-reliant and sovereign applications across the national security domain.
This integrated research, media and technology model enables TIES to work across the knowledge cycle, from understanding complex issues and generating original ideas and analysis to communicating their significance to the world and developing sovereign technological and AI capabilities for the nation.
TIES has developed a network of 120+ young researchers, analysts, engineers, designers and media professionals from prestigious institutions in India and abroad, mostly Gen-Z, alongside a digital community of 200,000+ followers and 50,000+ subscribers, generating millions of monthly impressions across its platforms. Our institutional and expert engagement extends across academics, researchers, public representatives, policymakers, technology professionals and practitioners through dialogues, webinars, workshops and knowledge initiatives.
TIES has also received the Anuvadhini Fellow Award from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India, and was associated with the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where it hosted a key session examining disinformation warfare and building resilient societies in the era of artificial intelligence. Founded and directed by Pruthavirajsingh Dulat (22) and Hardik Pathak (24), TIES operates with an India-first philosophy, where research creates knowledge, media amplifies it and technology transforms it into solutions that advance India's self-reliance in domains of national importance.
